I just wanted to come here and say thank you for making this blog. It's nice to see someone talking about this disease that we have in common in a way that makes it feel like it's not that big of a deal to have. I was diagnosed about 8 years ago, when I was 14. I have had ups and downs with this disease and have handled them all. I've been in a lot better of a place these past few year, less lows and less highs. A little over a year ago my younger sister was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes also and it hit her hard, she's been having trouble with it. Reading your blog, from you with the point of view as a new diabetic is helping me give her advice and hopefully be a better diabetic role model for her. So just here to say thanks for the blog and keep up the good work.
